Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that supplies sponsored results. We do not save a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us includes only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting service records ordinary technical logs, which may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us diagnose faults and understand site use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How We Use the Data
The limited information described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not create individual visitor profiles or sell a visitor list.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to San Francisco agencies, California offices, courts, libraries, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that service's privacy terms. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an independent provider operates.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors may process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising services may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
How Data Is Safeguarded
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since visitors do not create accounts, we do not hold an account password or member profile for them.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted such information so it can be removed.
California Data Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act framework may give eligible residents rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information held by a covered business. Because we retain very little, a request will usually involve checking our contact mailbox and available logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by San Francisco County or California agencies remain outside our control, and a request concerning those records must go to the custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the service after a revision takes effect signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
